Ballenger Creek Dog Park - this park is located on the south side of Frederick County, MD, off Ballenger Creek, and has two fenced in areas for dogs to run, one is designated for large and medium sized dogs, and the other for small sized dogs.

Downtown Frederick Maryland - shopping

Downtown Frederick Maryland is a great place to live, not just for people but pets too!  There are many restaurants in the downtown area that allow pets, as well as shops that are dog friendly.  As you walk around the shops down there, keep an eye out for a paw print on the windows and doors of shops, this indicates that the store is dog friendly and your pooch can accompany you in there!
