If you caught our blog post before the weekend, the staff at Veterinary Hospital compiled a list of places in Frederick County, Maryland that are pet friendly. The list will be added to over time as we find more businesses that allow pets. One of the places on the list that caught Mrs. Dr. A's eye was I Made This! A paint your own pottery place was not somewhere we immediately thought would be pet friendly - think large dog and lots of breakable items, however the rain and snow kept us indoors and make it seem like an attractive place to go. We called ahead to make sure it wasn't just little dog friendly and found out there was plenty of room and that it was a fairly quiet time so we headed out with our dog to downtown Frederick MD. We were pleasantly surprised that there was so much space in between the tables, and Chug was warmly welcomed and pretty popular with the other painters there. For the most part he sat patiently at the table waiting for his little people to paint their pottery before we paid and headed back home.
